Notes:
The Quartermaster (a commissioned WO) and Medical Officer could
be any rank Subaltern - Major but all are shown as Captains.
The RA non-tradesman
NCO allocation could be filled by non-repair tradesmen.
First reinforcements
for the Signals Section were held in the Signals Regiment, there were none for
the LAD.
The LAD with a towed field regiment in an armoured division had, in addition,
a Captain or Subaltern and sections for each battery and the Signal Troop had
slightly different ranks and trades as in a SP regiment.
This regiment is significantly larger than the1940 regiment although the number of guns is the same. The increase in RA tradesmen from 53 to 150 is notable.
