This page provides links to a set of pages each with tables listing all field artillery regiments and some associated units and formations. The tables show the regiments' origins, the theatres they were in, major actions in those theatres and the formations that commanded them. They are listed nationally:
UK - Some 345 field, medium, heavy, super heavy, pack/mountain/airborne, survey and anti-tank regiments of the Royal Horse Artillery (RHA), Honourable Artillery Company (HAC) and Royal Artillery (RA). Plus AGRAs and Air OP squadrons RAF. It does not include the handful of Royal Marine field batteries (all of which were in UK).
Australia - Over 55 field, medium, survey and anti-tank regiments of the Royal Australian Artillery (RAA).
Canada - 2 AGRAs and 71 field, medium, survey and anti-tank regiments of the Royal Canadian Horse Artillery (RCHA) and Royal Canadian Artillery (RCA) and the Air OP squadrons RCAF.
India - 28 field, medium, mountain, survey and anti-tank regiments of the Indian Artillery.
New Zealand - 10 field, medium and anti-tank regiments of the Royal New Zealand Artillery (RNZA).
South Africa - 14 field, medium and anti-tank regiments of the South African Artillery (SAA).
Colonial - 20 regiments from East and West Africa, Hong Kong and Singapore, and Newfoundland.
